Memory[]
The Attrapeuse de lumière riant can be found in Prairie Villages on the right-hand island, inside a large cave with a hole in the ceiling. This Spirit is a standard memory quest with 4 memory fragments and an unlimited overall time limit.
As their memory unfolds, the Laughing Light Catcher and another Spirit are seen picking up large jars inside the cave. Together, they proceed to carry them outside and up a hill, towards the bell tower that sits atop the small island.
At the end of the memory, both Spirits have set down their jars as a flock of Birds passes overhead. The Laughing Light Catcher watches curiously as several balls of light float nearby, while the other Spirit attempts to catch one with a staff. They fail at this task, causing the Laughing Light Catcher to burst into laughter, amused by their companion's clumsy flailing.

Expression[]
This Spirit offers the Rire Expression, which has 4 Levels.
- Level 1 will make your avatar clutch their stomach with one hand and slap their knee with the other, laughing, and then swipe a hand across their face as if wiping away tears.
- Level 2 makes the same motion as Level 1 with white starburst effects near your avatar's head.
- Level 3 will make your avatar put their hands on their hips and throw back their head with laughter, then lean forward and drum both hands on their knees while stomping both feet, as if they can't contain their amusement.
- Level 4 makes the same motion as Level 3 with many pink starburst effects near your avatar's head.
The prices of the three Expression upgrades are 1 
, 5 , and 5 . Levels 3 and 4 are only available after unlocking the Spirit's Wing Buff.

This Hair offered by this Spirit is a pair of puffy pigtails with blue hair ties, costing 5 
. It is permanently available to all players after unlocking the Spirit's Wing Buff and the Friendship Tree's fourth node.
Instrument[]
The Instrument offered by this Spirit is a wooden hand-held harp, costing 5 . It is a seven-string Instrument that plays 15 notes and is played standing up. The IAP variant inspired by this item, the Fledgling Harp, was later introduced with Harmony Hall. The two harps have the same sound, but different visuals.
The Harp plays the melody part on Music Sheets. Its pitch is one octave below the standard Piano (in C Major, it covers C3 to C5).
In Harmony Hall, this Instrument can be found in the left-hand room, on the same wall as the guitars, sitting on a shelf behind the 
Basse.

- The sound effect during
Rire and four other particular Expressions ( Bâillement, Rigoler, Éternuement, and Rire diabolique) are different when heard from unlit (gray) and extinguished players. This difference extends to all Levels of the Expression. - The Laughing Light Catcher Instrument is featured in a piece of merch from thatskyshop, in the form of the Harmony Harp Pin. It has a STAR feature which allows you to wear a Harmony Harp with the friends that you're holding hands with for a limited duration.
